DESIGN ENGINEER (Geotechnical Construction)Direct HireMount Juliet, TN- Position is on site- RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE!$100-150k MS in Civil Engineering and PE is required, 5-10 years of progressive experience in Geotechnical and/or Structural Engineering. Ability to interpret construction plans. Must have design experience, supports PM’s, knowledge of AutoCAD, Plaxis, DeepEx, Ram Element, L-Pile, Group, Slope W, Settle 3d, Mathcad, Safe. SUMMARY:Our Client is seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing team. As part of the engineering group you will get the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects nationwide. Being a design build contractor, you will get the satisfaction of seeing your designs built. In this position you will join a team of experienced engineers with decades in the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop preliminary designs to assist in bidding efforts.
Perform advanced analysis utilizing leading edge software and methods.
Develop calculation briefs.
Oversee and assist in production of shop drawings.
Prepare inspection and testing plans.
Provide engineering support during the construction phase.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters in Civil Engineering and PE is required.
3 -10 years of progressive experience in Geotechnical and/or Structural Engineering.
Ability to interpret construction plans.
Must have design experience, supports PM’s, works like an internal consultant to the PMs
