Process Piping BIM Designer (Junior Level) – Semiconductor/Datacenter
Location: Phoenix, AZ| Salt Lake City, UT| or Boise, ID

About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Junior Process Piping BIM Designer to support exciting projects in the Semiconductor, Data Center, and Water/Wastewater sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who wants to gain hands-on experience, grow professionally, and collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers and BIM professionals. Responsibilities
Develop 2D and 3D piping system layouts using Revit and Navisworks Manage
Create fabrication isometric drawings and 2D drawing views from 3D models
Support design coordination across disciplines under guidance from senior staff
Perform clash detection reviews and assist with generating reports
Contribute to drawing and model production while adhering to project standards
Convert and clean up files between AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit
Assist senior designers in preparing material takeoffs and parts lists
Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to full project lifecycles
Stay organized and engaged on fast-paced project timelines
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in process piping or mechanical design
Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or GED required
Project experience in Wastewater and Semiconductor (Data Center/Intel project experience highly preferred)
Proficiency in Revit (required) and Navisworks Manage
Familiarity with 2D/3D design concepts; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail with an eagerness to learn from senior designers and engineers
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Must be located near Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; or Boise, ID for onboarding, meetings, and occasional in-office work
