Facilities Maintenance TechnicianShift: 2nd ShiftLocation: Greenleaf WIPay $25 - $30 an hour Qualified Professional Technical is working with a Manufacturer in the Greenleaf area to fill a Direct Hire 2nd Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician.
SUMMARYAccountable for various duties essential to the operation of an agricultural waste management & resource recovery facility that utilizes mechanical, chemical, and biological systems to process manure and other agricultural waste streams into value-added products such as renewable natural gas (RNG), animal bedding, soil amendments and fertilizers, and clean water. Employees will report to the Facility Manager; but direct supervision may be limited.
This position will include participation in an On-Call rotation and may require work outside of regular business hours. On-Call technicians must live within a 45-minute drive of their assigned facility. This position includes both office work and field work.
Field work will include work outside and exposed to: the weather, high elevations, confined spaces, electrical components, both stationary and rotating equipment, manure and other agricultural wastes, gases and liquids that are compressed/pressurized, toxic, caustic or acidic, and/or flammable, dust, and high noise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:· Operation of a full range of mechanical, chemical, and biological assets at the facility as well as the installation, maintenance, and repair of the same.· A variety of process and quality control related duties including sampling, testing, and documenting various gases, liquids, and solids.· Parts procurement, logistics, and recordkeeping at the assigned facility and for utilizing CMMS, purchasing, and inventory management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:· Valid driver’s license· Basic computer literacy· General mechanical aptitude· High School diploma / GED· Either 1-3 years of experience in an applicable field (e.g., industrial maintenance, wastewater treatment, gas & oil, ethanol or chemical production, etc.); or undergraduate degree in a similar field or an applicable engineering discipline Women, veterans, and minorities are encouraged to apply.· Able to operate motor vehicles, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment such as forklifts and skid steers.· Reliable, detail orientated, self-starting, self-regulating, entrepreneurial, and display great integrity
