We are actively assisting our client in the search for a qualified Utility (Electrical) Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity. The Utility (Electrical) Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of electrical substation facilities, control systems, and compliance with all regulatory inspections. This role plays a vital part in ensuring optimal facility performance, driving continuous improvement, and upholding the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical utility team
Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory compliance at the local, state, and federal levels
Monitor and maintain electrical infrastructure and control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize performance
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and effective manner
Lead training and mentoring efforts, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities
Qualifications:
Prior supervisory experience in an electrical or utility-focused setting is required
Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and drawings
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
