PEOPLESOFT PROGRAMMER
DIRECT HIREREMOTE Potential 120K-135K
 Our client has engaged QPT in their search for a PeopleSoft programmer to join their Human Resources Information Technology team!  This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing PeopleSoft, working closely with HR to understand requirements and configure the system to meet their business needs. Our client is open to hybrid schedules, however there are some on-site obligations.  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with internal customers and vendors to gather and analyze HR requirements for PeopleSoft implementation of change requests
  • Configure and customize PeopleSoft modules, including, but not limited to: Core HR, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Time and Labor, Time and Attendance, Year-end coordination of:  W2’s, T-4 (Canada) and new benefits changes/interfaces
  • Conduct system end-to-end testing and troubleshoot any issues to ensure successful implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead and Assist in data migration and integration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the system and system interdependencies
  • Participate in project planning, estimation of activities, providing input on timeline, requirements and deliverables
  • Document system configurations, processes, user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain an accurate record of the implemented solution
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary/legal changes
  • Understand and communicate all PeopleSoft release notes, while collaborating with internal customers to understand potential impacts and required deadlines
 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science preferred
  • Proven experience implementing and configuring PeopleSoft functionalities/SQRs, retrofitting, testing
  • Strong understanding of the HR/Payroll Processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations
  • Proven experience with People Tools and Autosys (Broadcom)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot system problems

  • Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of data migration and integration processes, including experience with tools like PeopleTools or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Continuous learning mindset and very good English-speaking skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
