Production Supervisor
Job type: DIRECT HIRE
Location: ST. Clair County, MI
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and support our clients production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all department processes are running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping. This role requires hands-on experience in metal injection molding, including machine and robot programming, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, support, and training to employees within the production department.
Oversee and ensure the proper functioning of all department processes.
Monitor production schedules and ensure that production runs efficiently and meets established standards.
Compile information, develop, and generate various production and personnel-related reports.
Perform mold changes as required to maintain production flow.
Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping within the department.
Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
Support and adhere quality management system.
Cover for other shift supervisors as needed to ensure continuous operations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a production environment.
Hands-on experience with metal injection molding, including molding machine and robot programming.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, with IQMS experience preferred.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Flexibility to cover other shifts as needed.
