Job Description
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTRESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning, developing, implementing, and directing various project plans.
Develops and maintains project plans, including details relating to resources required, timelines, schedules, budgets, and communications.
Manage cross-functional projects by working directly with internal stakeholders and third parties.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project have been well-planned.
Work within a collaborative culture to create innovative solutions.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Using appropriate software, build workflow templates for each project assigned. Create project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Keep detailed documentation regarding significant decisions made during meetings. Maintain meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and disburse to stakeholders.
Create and conduct regular progress presentations for senior leadership.
Schedule/Manage projects based on assignments from the CHRO.
Create documentation throughout all steps of the project life-cycle, such as charters, work breakdown structures, roles and responsibilities, procurement management plan, cost baseline, schedule baseline and critical path, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. This includes compliance documentation.
Manage project financials, including assisting with creation of a budget/forecast, reconciling actuals against forecast, and reviewing/approving project invoices.
Conduct stakeholder engagement assessments and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure that all expectations are established and successfully met throughout the project.
Assists with the Request for Proposal (RFP) process from beginning to end, including the scope definition, vendor screening, development of RFP documents, source selection criteria, contract negotiations, and execution of contractual agreements.
Creates and successfully manages cross-functional teams. Ensure team members meet scheduled deadlines.
Works closely with IS team to manage the development of technical solution design, enterprise architecture, and technical specifications.
Provides input to and reviews vendor contracts and manages the activities of external partners and resources that may be working on assigned projects.
Coordinate meetings and communication to ensure all stakeholders are engaged in the project and understand their responsibilities. Create a positive and collaborative work environment for project teams.
Provide regular status reports for management on project activities, risks, issues, scope, and progress.
Keep abreast of industry trends and react to changes in a way that maintains competitiveness.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Occasional travel to other locations, functions, and training facilities will be required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, and Supply Chain and Operations Management or related field highly preferred.
Equivalent educational and work experience may be considered. Project Management Practitioner (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or ability to obtain within 12 months.
