QUALITY MANAGER
DIRECT HIRE115-120KCLINTON TWP, MI
 RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for control of all internal documentation as it relates to Quality or Quality systems 
  • Responsible for passing R @ R for new product lines and PPAP approval
  • Create/submit new IMDS to customers, Approve IMDS submissions
  • Responsible for all functions in relation to Quality and / or the Quality department
  • Manage 8D process, completion and submission for all customers
  • Responsible for all activities relevant to the daily Quality functions
  • Representing the needs of customers for internal functions regarding IATF 16949 requirements
  • Perform new customer audits and complete surveys 
  • Controlling further requirements of nonconforming product until defective condition has been corrected 
  • Initiating prevention of internal nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system
  • Monitor Customer Specific Requirements and customer websites to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaison between staff and customer
  • Initiate/Manage third party sorts at customer location, including cost approvals
  • Supervision of all Quality Staff (Specialist & Inspectors) 
  • Assist with IATF 16949 audits and assist with completion of nonconforming items 
  • Coordinator for production meetings 
  • Verifying the implementation of solutions 
  • Must be able travel (minimum North America/prefer International) 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of Five Years Experience In Quality Related Field
  • Working Knowledge of PPAP Process, FMEAs, Control Plans, GD&T, CMM Data
  • Problem Solving, Gage R and R's and Cap. Studies
  • Working Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 Systems and ISO 14001:2010 Requirements. 
  • Internal Auditing/SPC/Problem Solving
  • AIAG Core Tools (APQP, CP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
