This is your chance to get in on the ground floor with a well-established company launching its first U.S. facility in the Detroit metro area. You’ll combine your engineering background with sales skills to help introduce innovative automation systems to top industries like medical, automotive, and industrial manufacturing. Work directly with technical teams in the U.S. and Germany
Play a key role in launching a new U.S. operation
Travel for training and client visits – domestic & international

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build relationships with new and existing customers across North America
Prepare and present RFQs and technical proposals
Support estimating, pricing, and project sales strategy
Collaborate with engineering teams on both sides of the Atlantic
Understand and explain complex automation systems and processes
Represent the company at meetings, events, and trade shows
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3–7 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Project Engineering, or Technical Estimating
Background in automation, special machinery, or industrial systems (KUKA, Fanuc, ABB, etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel (25–45%) and visit Detroit monthly (if remote)
Experience preparing detailed RFQs and technical sales documentation
Exposure to financial modeling or proposal-based estimating
A personable, customer-focused approach
Interest in international business or German manufacturing culture
