SYSTEMS ENGINEERJOB SUMMARY:Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer to work at their facility located in Sterling Heights, MI. The Systems Engineer is a key role within the engineering team, focused requirements analysis, decomposition and allocation in addition to architecture development employing SysML modeling in order to deliver the highest levels of performance to the platform and crew for the Next Generation Combat Vehicle/Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle program. If you have at least 5 Years' Experience in model based systems engineering (MBSE), and have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, we are interested in reviewing your qualifications! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Review Customer requirements for compliance, and elicit system operational & functional concepts
Allocate, decompose and derive requirements to subsystems and components, and trace to ensure successful vehicle integration
Assure appropriate flow-down of design constraints
Perform SysML modeling as assigned to include behavior, structure and parametric modeling.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews with other engineering disciplines
Develop and maintain product and subsystem level specification
Support the IPTs in developing critical item specifications.
Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations & policies.
Undertake other duties as determined by the Systems Engineering manager or his/her delegate.
