2nd Shift PIM Maintenance Technician
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay Range: $27 to $32 per hour
Our Qualified Technical and Professional recruiting team is engaged in the search for a Maintenance Technician on behalf of a tier one automotive plastic component manufacturer. This direct hire role supports a high volume production environment where plastic injection molding experience is a must have. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production, support equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician maintains all production equipment, support equipment, and building maintenance as directed by the supervisor. The facility is a tier one automotive plastic component supplier, with the majority of equipment supporting plastic injection molding processes. Key Responsibilities
Complete all preventive maintenance activities as assigned by the supervisor
Oil, grease, and clean equipment and work areas as required through work orders
Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment based on work order requests
Ensure safety standards and housekeeping requirements are consistently met
Perform out sort work, training, or special assignments as directed due to job title upgrades or operational needs
Review and complete required documentation related to maintenance responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventive maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
Follow work instructions related to preventive maintenance, work order completion, predictive maintenance setup, and equipment repairs
Follow all safety rules and report safety concerns and injuries regardless of severity
Maintain plant safety standards and 5S housekeeping requirements
Requirements
Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent experience in Maintenance
Prior maintenance experience within a plastic injection molding manufacturing facility is required
Basic knowledge of TS16949 and understanding of the Quality Policy
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience in an industrial production environment
Flexible schedule with willingness to work overtime on short notice
Knowledge of safety practices within an industrial manufacturing setting
