SURVEYOR Location: MD> Regional travel across Maryland DC and Mid AtlanticCompensation: $65,000 to $95,000 base salaryEmployment Type: Full Time Field BasedTravel Requirement: 80% field 20% office: 50% DC Baltimore metro • 50% Mid Atlantic region We are engaged to assist our exceptional client with the hiring of a Surveyor to support major foundation and ground improvement projects across the DC Baltimore metro area and the broader Mid Atlantic region. This is a full time field based direct hire opportunity offering strong project backlog and long term growth. Position Overview The Surveyor will support construction projects involving Auger Pressure Grouted Piling, Displacement Piling, Driven Piling, Pressure Grouting, Sheeting and Shoring, Ground Improvement, and Micropiling. The role focuses on accurate project layout and as built documentation to ensure field and office teams remain aligned and projects remain on schedule. This role offers growth opportunities into quality control and supervisory positions. Key Responsibilities
Compute coordinates for use in field layout
Perform field layout and as built surveys
Prepare detailed and accurate as built reports
Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to meet project timelines
Analyze survey data and resolve measurement or documentation discrepancies
Review shop drawings and contract drawings including structural architectural and civil plans
Qualifications
Associates degree required
2+ years of experience as a Surveyor or similar role
Experience preparing survey documentation and conducting field work
Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
Ability to operate survey equipment and related technology
Professional Land Surveying License preferred not required
Ability to travel 80% across DC Baltimore and Mid Atlantic regions
