Job Description
Agribusiness Project Manager Location: Oak Brook IL area Salary: $100-190K plus( based on experience) Qualified Professional and Technical is partnered with a respected client to identify an experienced Project Manager for the agribusiness sector. The Project Manager will oversee the development and execution of small to medium projects while maintaining project profit goals, safety standards, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will manage resources, scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements. This role provides leadership to the project team and serves as the primary contact for the client and outside consultants. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate completion of defined project scope across multiple departments and business locations
Develop, review, and approve project management documents including scope details, project costs, project schedules, and communications
Support preparation of project execution strategy and review drawings and specifications before permit release and construction
Monitor scope and schedule changes and secure change authorizations when needed
Supervise preparation of proposals, specifications, scope documents, and negotiate final contracts
Monitor project costs and quality to ensure profit objectives and strong technical performance
Develop innovative actions to correct scope, budget, or schedule issues
Apply cost efficient project design approaches that reduce construction costs and improve productivity
Identify and prioritize key project challenges and drive problem solving efforts
Maintain strong knowledge of company project planning and scheduling functions
Support project development, business development, and relationship growth activities of the Senior Project Manager
Education Experience and Skills
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline required
10 plus years of project management experience
5 plus years of project management experience in consulting within agribusiness preferred
Professional Engineering License or PMP Certification preferred
Broad knowledge of AE AEPCM Design Build and CM models
LEED AP or CEM certifications are highly desired
Strong knowledge of contract administration liability and safety requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office AutoCAD and Navisworks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks stay organized and maintain excellent attention to detail
