FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN Job Type: DIRECT HIREPay: $23.00- $35.00 Based on experience) OVERVIEW: QPTG has been engaged to identify an experienced and highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our client’s growing team. This individual will play a key role in supporting customers across the U.S. by delivering expert-level service, repair, and commissioning of advanced Non-Ferrous Metal and Woodworking Machinery. Our client is a leading provider of turnkey machinery solutions, offering everything from equipment design and engineering to installation and full-scale system integration—including wood dust and non-ferrous chip collection systems. Their commitment to process optimization and plant layout excellence makes them a trusted partner for both established operations and new start-ups. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, commission, and test new or rebuilt equipment at customer sites
Train machine operators and maintenance personnel on proper equipment use and care
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration of a wide range of field machinery
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related equipment issues
Recommend and implement preventative maintenance programs
Complete detailed field service reports, including time, work performed, and any recommendations
Provide exceptional customer service while addressing technical inquiries and concerns on-site
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining specialized industrial machinery
