MANUFACTURING ENGINEER- Machine Removal | CNC | Precision Machining Location: Fraser, MI area Job Type: Direct Hire Shift: Day Shift Pay: $90K - 130K Based on Experience' Our client has engaged us to conduct a search for a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity in Fraser, MI. Company specializes in precision machining including CNC boring, milling, and turning. This role works closely with operators, maintenance, and leadership to improve productivity, drive efficiency, and reduce waste in a fast paced manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process Improvement
Analyze, develop, and improve manufacturing processes including workflow, methods, and equipment
Tooling and Fixtures
Design or source tools, fixtures, jigs, and machinery
Production Support
Provide daily technical support to the production floor
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
Quality and Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and QS9000 standards
Maintain adherence to customer quality requirements
Project Management
Oversee capital equipment projects from feasibility through implementation
Documentation
Develop and maintain work instructions
Maintain accurate Bills of Materials BOM
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC machining, boring, or precision machining
Must have experience working for a machine removal company
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong knowledge of GD&T
Proficiency with CAD and CAM software
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
