PROCESS TECHNICIAN 3rd shift (10pm to 6pm, M-F) SUMMARY Our client is an industry-leading custom injection molding company, recognized for delivering flexible, economical and professional solutions to their customers. The Process Technician has the responsibility for supporting complex program launches, as well as review current programs and machines for improving production efficiency. This role is ideal for those with extensive process experience in the injection molding industry. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for machine start-ups
Maximize uptime on all machine centers with objective and reducing and eliminating downtime
First response to all machine, robot and secondary equipment alarms
Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency
Troubleshoot machine, mold and material issues
Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects
Respond to Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.
Responsible for the accurate completion of Process Verification and Master Set-up Sheets.
Ensures proper care of all equipment especially the managing and proper disposal of all purge.
Drive the reduction of scrap through elimination of mold conditions using corrective action and mold repair items.
Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 3-5 years’ experience working as a process /maintenance technician.
3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting injection molding preferred.
Must be experienced in mold set-ups and troubleshooting.
Robotics experience preferred.
Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.
Working knowledge of plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatic preferred.
